Caught Alan Price on a TOTP2 re-run and it prompted me to post this, which is a memorable interpretation of a great, and relatively accessible, song.
Alan Price - ToRamona (not on iTunes so here's an Amazon link to an anthology that includes it)

Your sidebar list of greatest music is impeccable, well except for the inclusion of Nirvana and Radiohead and the inexplicable absence of Prince and Guns & Roses (the last great rock band).
You appear to understand that Gladys Knight was the great female pop/soul singer of the 60s and 70s. If only she hadn’t been so pig ugly she would have been a legend. Props to you.
HOWEVER - I cannot let the inclusion of Chopin (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) and the non inclusion of the single greatest composer EVER, ever, namely, Bach, go unmentioned. What you were thinking? Chopin and no Bach? That is mental.
BTW - You should work at understanding Tammy Wynette, it is worth the effort. She is The Queen.
nice blog about music!....can exchange link?...your link already in my blog!..waiting 4 link back thx!...^^
